Ed Reed unleashes video rant against Bethune-Cookman after claiming university won’t be “ratifying” contract

NFL Hall of Famer Ed Reed won’t be the subsequent head coach at Bethune-Cookman after negotiations did not ratify his contract.

But Saturday morning, Reed launched an announcement saying that he “could not make issues work” at Bethune-Cookman.

“Bethune-Cookman University has been working with my authorized group to craft contract phrases with the language and sources we knew have been wanted to construct a profitable soccer program,” Reed wrote. “It is my want to not solely coach soccer, however to be an agent of change that most individuals simply speak about being.”

“However, after weeks of negotiations I’ve been knowledgeable that the University won’t be ratifying my contract and won’t make good on the settlement we had in precept, which had provisions and sources greatest wanted to help the scholar athletes.”

Reed took to Instagram Saturday morning, unleashing a rant against the university and saying he is been “pressured out” whereas addressing the group.
